[ROM][BETA] CyanogenMod 10 for the LG Lucid

Has anyone found a way to toggle the hardware key lights? In stock ICS, we were able to turn them off completely or have the light stay on longer. I haven't been able to find settings in CM10 rom.

By the way, this rom is awesome. Thank you for all of your hard work towards it.

CM10 does not appear to have this feature. You can disable them completely by going to Settings > Display > Automatic backlight > Edit other levels and changing the "Buttons" level to 0 for some or all values of ambient light. Adding such a toggle in the settings is beyond my expertise at this time - does CM10.1 have this feature?

I flashed b1 and it just doesn't seem as smooth as a2 and a3, and from other people's issues I am thinking I need to go to ZV8, so to upgrade to that do I just flash it the same way I did gapps or is it different

I made a battery life tradeoff in the default "ondemand" CPU clock governor which may have slightly reduced smoothness. If you want to stick with this governor, try using a CPU control app (like SetCPU, there is a free version on xda-developers) to set the ondemand governor's "powersave_bias" back to 0. Personally, I didn't notice any speed difference when I made this adjustment, but battery life was a bit better.

Alternatively, try some of the other governors in the "Performance" section under Settings to see if it feels smoother; interactive, lagfree, and smartassv2 might be good choices.

For TDM and PG - do you have any good links on how to tune/tweak Android kernels? Other kernels advertise items such as "lowered wifi voltages", "usb host", or "increased gpu frequency" and I'm not sure how to try similar adjustments on this kernel/ROM.

This device apparently isn't supported by Pandora radio, but it is on stock. Any ideas?

Pandora | Trouble Streaming Pandora on Android

According to this page, Pandora doesn't support unofficial ROMs, this CM10 being one of them. I was able to install and open the app, but since I don't have an account I couldn't try to stream actual audio. Does Pandora run OK?

I am pretty new to all this b1 is only the third thing I have ever flashed, but I have figured it out enough to feel comfortable trying new things.. as far as tuning and tweaking, I haven't found very good info on different tweaks and tunes and how they help, I have rom toolbox pro and I think it has all the tools I would need..

It's kind of ad hoc. I have a safe cpu oc patch in my kernel. HoNo, ortrigger, and others have more aggressive oc patches including GPU oc.

For stcarlso:
No idea if any of this would work but......
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1572937
for ics but somethings may work.

This is a great resource, but it is aimed more at the user side of the view. I'm the dev who has to implement features like this, and most of the stuff on there is unfortunately somewhat GS2 specific. It's still helpful, but doesn't give a whole lot of pointers towards improvements for this device.

I guess I should talk to "mtmichaelson" as he or someone he knows created the Blitzkrieg kernel for the Connect, which might give us some pointers for this ROM/kernel.

Any reason why my phone keeps restarting when playing games? I tried different CPU frequencies and governors, still does it. I also reflashed ROM...

I've had the same problem... if you figure it out let me know. It might have to do with ram. The device reboots when ram is overloaded to clear it out. I have zram and ksm enabled and it only happens when I'm on a GBA emulator.
