Yes, I had the same problem. Turns out my WIFE is the actual "Account Owner", since she's been paying the bills, etc. I had to get her UserID and Password to get into the page where I can start the preorder.

But now the Preorder page has been unavailable for over 2 hours.

Yes...I have been trying for several hours....now the website says that My Verizon is temporarily unavailable!!

After all said and done i payed $99 dollars plus tax for my incredible from verizon, it started at the 299.99 mark and then gave me a 100 dollars off for an internet order and then another $100 bucks off and it said becouse of re-uping my 2 year contract. I have been looking for anyone else getting this deal but have not seen it. I have my Order Confirmation in my hand and only paid $99 plus tax... what a steal for a hopfuly great phone

I got the same deal... $100 NE2 and $100 instant rebate (or for re-upping my contract, which hd gone month 2 month). $99 + tax!

And, I only have a 450 minute plan...

Did mine actually over the phone with Verizon today.

I was going to just do it online, but since I'm coming from a basic Motorolla flip phone, I had some questions on the pricing of the different data and text plans. When I got finished, the rep gave me his information and said to call him back once I was ready to order and he would just enter it in himself.

Called him back an hour later after speaking to my boss (he's paying for the phone as well as increasing my pay slightly to cover the extra costs associated with the data and text plans! ), and just placed the order over the phone.

Between the online discount and my NE2 (which had been up since June of last year), I got the phone for $158 and change once tax was figured in.

Looking forward to moving up to a modern smartphone!

I click the # i want to upgrade, click the incredible add to cart then i get this:

and says continue, so i do and goes back to the account home page....

Anyone else having problems?

This seems like a change in online policy with VZW. I am an "account manager" and when I ordered last night I had no problems at all. But today when I went to check the status, I got the same page that you did. My grandfather made me a manager to do all that stuff for him, guess it's moot now.

Not to be a dick, but why is there so much repetitive useless information being posted? Do we really all care about how much it costed each and everyone one of us? And how the whole order process went? I think we all pretty much know what the phone will cost. Sorry, but after reading over all the posts since this morning, all I keep reading is the same old crap.

It happens on AndroidCentral, it happens on Crackberry (WWAAYYY more there, you shouldv'e seen it when the Storm first came out!). It will always be this way.

How'd everyone get theirs so cheap!

Just pre-ordered mine and it was ~$250 after taxes.

$199 for the phone + ~$50 on taxes. My NE2 isn't until August, so maybe that's why? I didn't get any other credits

Question: Did anyone pre-order at bestbuy with a 1 year contract? If so how much is it?

Also if i pre-order online through verizon i would have to deal with mail-in rebates correct?

I just got back from best buy and there was only 1 preorder so far....and when i asked for pricing on a 1 year contract she told me verizon doesn't do them anymore. I don't believe that.

I don't know about Best Buy, but I can definitely tell you VZN DOES do 1-year contracts. The 1-year with VZN for the DI is $269.99--the Best Buy pricing should be somewhat the same right now.

That's good and I'll consider it, but then the thread should've been "So who pre-ordered the Incredible today and how much did everybody pay?" It just reminds me of all my ****** friends who write their complete daily journal on Facebook with BS.

So hey, let me join in on all the uselessness...I tried to pre-order last night but the server was way overloaded with people trying to buy it. But I managed to purchase it this morning without any hickups, and I bought it at full retail price as I'm still under contract. I'll use my upgrade next year when the 4g/LTE phones start coming out.

Finally got my order to go through!! What a friggin headache..but nowhere near the frustration I experience when using my LG Dare. I got nowhere using Firefox or IE..ended up using Safari on the ipod touch to get pages loaded. Yesssss!

I gave up on their site and went to my7 local BB this morning. I asked the clerk after asking me if she could help me, "I'd like to pre-order the HTC Inc on Verizon please" and she looked at me and said "you wanna do what?"

Long story short I put my 50 bucks down, got my gift card (which can go towards the purchase of the Inc), and she said the computer is showing deliv date of 4/23 and she would call me when the truck gets in. I said "cool thanks." I'm excited I'm coming from the Eris w/ v2 of 2.1 leak which has been very solid for me. Thx to this forum for all the good reads

Ordered mine a VZW online at 8am on 4/19. Too excited about this phone. I had been holding out for a Nexus One on Verizon but that doesn't seem like it is ever going to happen. DI is a better phone anyway so I am happy but sooooo anxious for the 29th to get here.
