Help . Micro SD card

I thought I remembered reading that the largest capacity card you could get that would work was a 16gb. If it does actually work with larger capacities, I may just wait and use the smaller ones I have now in lieu of waiting for the price go fall on the 32gb.

On the official spec sheet it says 16 gb max, but sources from Verizon have confirmed that it can hold the new 32 gb cards.

Im sure im not the only one planning on buying a Micro SD card before the INcredible gets here.

Does it matter what micro sd card i buy or are they all the same?

If it does matter then which cards are the best for the INCredible?

I decided to go ahead with the 8gb card for 17.99 and free shipping. I figure in 6 months I could jump to a bigger card and put this card in a different device. I ordered 3 of them for 2 Incredibles and an extra one for whatever. Plus the phone has 8gb built in.:D

Class 6 Samsung TransFlash Micro SDHC 16GB Memory Card - eBay (item 370364591233 end time May-13-10 03:17:27 PDT)

I'm confused.
the title says Samsung but when I look at the listing and the picture of the item I don't see where it says Samsung.
Is isynapse a subsidiary or something?

I did see an article that said the 32gb cards have issues with android. I guess I should say that the other way around. Android has issues with 32gb cards. Not to say the cards won't work at all. To be dead honest, I just read a blurb, not full article - but definately worth looking into before anyone spends alot of $$$ on a 32gb card.

I don't know how the Incredible will be like, but when I switched from the Class 2 that came with my Eris to a class 6 I bought, things that accessed the card loaded so much faster.

For example, when I opened up the gallery with the old and slow card, it would take a few sections for the photos to load. Now with the new card, it is a lot snappier. My friends all notice it.

I don't know if things will change with the built in storage for the Incredible though...

What is the use of a Class 6 card on the Incredible? It has the 8GB onboard memory for stuff that needs quick writing. The MicroSD would mainly be for archiving and media - read-heavy functions that are fine with Class 2.

The only exception would be Apps2SD, which (I've heard?) doesn't work so well with the onboard memory.

Lastly, the classification isn't perfect. Some Class 2 cards work great, and some Class 6 cards have disappointing performance.

Well just remember that Class speed is the minimum speed, so yes Class 2 could outperform a Class 6.

Android will accept 32 gb microSDHC cards, but it just cant format them. An OTA update is expected to fix this.

I bought the Sandisk Ultra 32Gig from Newegg for $99. Great price, amazon and zipzoom have it for $150. I read that Android may have problems formating a 32gig but that's ok, i'll wait till it's supported or format it on my computer.

if you bought this:
Newegg.com - SanDisk Ultra 32GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model SDSDRH032GA11
you did not by a micro sd card, that is standard sd card and will not fit in the phone. better check now so you can cancel your order.

Are you sure you ordered a MicroSD? The 32GB Sandisk Ultra I see on newegg for $99 is standard SD size.
