There's another thread where someone posted they saw it for $149 on wirefly already. I looked, but couldn't find it. Perhaps they accidentally listed the price early. Now it just says coming soon. That's the same price the Moto Droid debuted at. It then dropped to $99 after the debut. Amazon and Wirefly usually have similar pricing.

Remember, no insurance or assistance from VZW if you buy it from Amazon, etc. If it breaks or is defective, you have to send it back to where you bought it from. Imagine that nightmare!

LOL ....2012 is only scary because some of us will be going through the same exact thing with a future phone (THE HTC Ridiculous) using our New Every Two and boasting cell processor and 3d Holograms. So i remember there being some controversy that the Incredible would have B/G/N wifi capabilities (i believe according to the manual) but then on the Verizon stuff it lists just B/G capability. Can anyone confirm this? Also if it is only just B/G, does anyone know if the hardware can support N, like how Android OS 2.2 could unleash the full N potential of the Nexus One, could this be the same case with the Incredible?

spoke to vzw customer service asking them to confirm my pending order. they said they can't but the manager "the horses mouth" said they were going to begin shipments on the 25th. !!!!!!!!!!!! :O

Could that explain the two different dates we were getting before the announcement? The 25th AND the 29th?

I don't think massive shipments are a problem these days for the shippers, as it happens all the time with other products. Not that I wouldn't LOVE an earlier ship date mind you!

Information from Verizon employees seems so random that I'll just keep expecting the 29th and if it shows up earlier I'll bust out a happy dance.

I would have to agree, UPS did the shipping for the iPad and did it in one day also.

For the Yahoo account, you have to pay to get Yahoo Plus (I think that's what it's called) be able to forward it to your gmail account. I tried to do this awhile ago and it wouldn't let me. I don't know if you can pull it into HTC mail either without Yahoo Plus (paid account)
One of the changes that 2.1 brought was native yahoo support

FYI...
If you go to your yahoo settings and change your regeion to yahoo asia, then you can forward your mail for free to gmail. No plus account needed.
