Stay away from that Spigen Neo Hybrid case! I bought it for my Note 3 and the fitment is HORRIBLE! They would never reply to my emails, and had to go through Amazon for the claim. I bought cheap $5 cases from eBay that fit better. I had the Otterbox Commuter for my Note 2 and it was perfect. I'll be using a cheap case until I can get another Otterbox for my Note 3.

Oh no  I had my heart set on this one SPIGEN SGP Neo Hybrid Case for Galaxy Note 3 Reventon Yellow | eBay available 29th October but you may have saved me some money.

I've got that same one coming to me via post. It should be here Some time before Halloween. I'll let you know how it goes. Meanwhile, someone on the previous page has some nice photos and a mini review of it. Doesn't sound bad to me but I'll find out soon enough. It can't be any worse than the over priced junk I bought from the AT&T store.

I first bought a case advertised as: [Non-Slip] SPIGEN Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Case Slim [Ultra Fit] [Smooth Black] Rubbery Feel Non-Slip Grip Matte Hard Case for Galaxy Note III. It was good quality but a bit too slippery for my liking. Did not feel rubbery at all. Also the power button had a raised bump rather than a cutout and I found myself having a bit of trouble using it at times.

So I ordered this case from Amazon: "Yousave Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Case Black Silicone Gel Cover". This one is not quite the quality of the Spigen, but is a bit less slippery and easier to use the buttons as they have cutouts. It also does not give the appearance of offering as much protection.

The case I had for years on my old Samsung Charge was perfect but I don't know what it is. It did not have cutouts for the buttons, but it was a softer material than the Spigen so it was easy to push the buttons. It was also a softer, more silicon like material, offering more cushioning and a better grip. Guess I will keep looking.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DCICXMU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yes, scroll back on page about halfway up and find my user name - I've posted a lengthy review with photos. My fits very well. The case is two piece, an outer rubber shell that the phone sits in and then the plastic colored ring that snaps around the rubber shell. Fitment on mine was excellent.

One person complained about the buttons being 'loose' and they are, but that's because they are floating. They are supposed to be loose. I think it's a decent case for the money, well made and will provide the protection it is designed to provide.

Check out my photos, the fit is excellent, all the cutouts are very well done.

My case's issue was with the phone fitment inside the rubber case. When you went to press any of the side buttons, or grip the screen with your finger to move it, it had wiggle room on all sides. This wasn't a problem dealing with improper installation and what not. It's not hard putting a case on. It's pretty obvious when a case designed for a phone is too large for it. I probably had one of the first batches that were made with mock-up specs before the Note 3 was released. I make this assumption because the outer plastic ring fir the rubber shell perfectly while the Note 3 had wiggle room inside. It's really annoying when you go to press one of the side buttons, and the phone isn't close enough for the button to press. Spigen sent me another notification stating that they had another batch available, but I wasn't interested anymore.

I found this 3D PU Leather Chrome Plastic Case Back Cover for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 CLK | eBay on ebay and can't decide whether it is cool or tacky?

I see what you mean! I couldn't decide either!! I like the look and texture of the black 'leather' but that gold is just a little too yellow and looks fake. If they made it lighter or maybe a satin like the Neo Hybrid I posted photos of then it might work better.

On the same page there's a Carbon Fiber/Chrome one that I think looks better and would especially look better with the white model. The price is right. It's a pretty simple design though, very minimal, and would provide quite enough protection for me. I really need a raised surface in the front to counter damage to the screen.

My Spigen Neo Hybrid is finally on it's way! Currently it is in LA, so hopefully I'll have it by next week.

Mine has finally shipped as well, should be here tomorrow. I like their products and I realize a lot of people felt jerked around with the way they marked them 'shipped' in Amazon, but it took 4 days or more before any tracking info posted. I'm hoping ours come from the second batch of cases :D

Yup, got my notification too. It sounds like the container finally cleared customs and they got their shipment in the warehouse and filled orders. So this would be the latest batch of what is available. (I kind of have to wonder if the shutdown didn't have something to do with getting imports cleared.)

And another thing worth mentioning about the Neo Hybrid case is that the rubber part of the case is not soft and flexible as one might expect, so it's not about it being stretched or something. It's actually a pretty stiff hard plastic with a soft feel, similar to rubber. I also noticed that the plastic band can make it pretty hard to grab the phone off a flat surface...especially if your hands aren't oily.

Also, can anyone recommend a nice leather pouch?
I've been using Sena Ultraslim Premium Leather pouches for all my smartphones. I simply can't say enough good things about them. They fit perfectly, are scratch resistant and perfect for covering the display as well. They are working on the Note 3 model now.

A Harley AND a Note 3! Any toys you haven't got?
Thanks to hard / smart work after obtaining a master's from M.I.T. my once meager income has grown very robust. A positive attitude, great determination and focus are priceless :D

So, I've been searching for another ultra slim case that maybe added a little more protection to the top and bottom of the phone and came across this one:

Ultra Slim White TPU Cover Case Film for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE N9005 VWSB052 | eBay

What I liked about this one is, it covers the top of the phone (while being the thinnest coverage that I've seen) and also covers a small portion of the bottom, to keep the "ultra slim" form factor.

What I plan on doing is, as soon as the "custom skins" are available for order, I'll purchase one of those and put it on top of this case. I'm so glad I cancelled my order for the OEM wireless cover replacement. The additional thickness would prevent any cases like this from being used.

Yup! Sunsky was my S3 case fix. I junkied (ordered) around 25 cases in different styles and including shipping it came to about $45.00. Just like women and their shoes - a man and his cellphone can never have too many cases to change the look every few days. Gets boring wearing the same one everyday. Hell, 1 case at VZW will cost you $19.95 plus tax.

Now keep in mind everyone - you have to be patient to get these because they take a while to receive sometimes. It can be 2 weeks and it can be 1 month. You just have to order them and forget about them.

I couldn't edit my thread for some reason earlier but here's the better link with 13 pages of choices:

SUNSKY - Galaxy Accessories Note III / N9000 Case China Electronics Wholesale and Drop Shipping , Factory Price Online, Discount Buy in Case "

P.S. I just noticed your from LA so you may get it a little faster because it's shipped just across the pond from you.

Oh wow...I both hate and love you for posting that site. I'm an admitted accessory addict and this site could prove to be such a bad thing for me.

Thanks for sharing your experience with them. Already looked through a bunch of things on there and saw a few cases that I wanted to test out.

Hey, It'll be your junkie fix now too! Just think, now you can go online to cop another case or two.

ALSO, think inexpensive X-mas presents because Sunsky.com and DX.com carries alot of different stuff. If you order now, you can probably get everyone a present for less than $100.00 and have in time for the holiday.
