Dude. Are you serious?! My 3G is typically faster than my school wifi already...which is really really fast usually. Also, you have my thanks and admiration. This rom has come a very long, good ways thanks to your hard, grueling effort. I appreciate your effort!!

Yeah I'm dead serious, this Rom doesn't have crossbreeder and a while ago some reported higher benches so im gonna add it in, in fact I already have added it. I need to fix gps though...

I need some testers...

[THEME] Touch of Ice Cream Jelly W/ Optional Emoticon Packs

The emoticon packs are what need to be tested... they're in an mms.apk that flashes over the one in the rom. It was meant for CTmod, but its very possible it works in HaloBean as well. If someone could flash it and test mms, and report back, that'd boost development alot further :)

The only problem I have with the rom is it wont send pics, no matter what size of quality, camera takes, and saves them all, will not send one though. I can send all the Lil Add-On emotes and recieve pics as well. just not send:thinking:

The emotes are just images that I switched out, so testing one of them is no different from the rest since they're the same under the hood. And you can receive pics but you can't send after flashing the add-on?

Never could send pics, The Hot Fix fixed the capture a pic option, but still cant send pics. The Lil Add-On paks didnt fix the pic sending issue, just work as replacement emotes.

Could be my phone, the network? I dunno:thinking:

They're all going to be in it... I'm trying to overhaul the system so that it functions better and faster... haven't had time though cuz of homework and tests and band and such... I'll be able to work on it over the weekend. In fact, I'm gonna need testers that have warps with good service and who can utilize the Google maps and navigation apps to test out different GPS configurations soon...

My speedometer in my car is broke so I have to use GPS everyday so I'll test lol

next update will take a few weeks, due to extensive testing being necessary... I'll probably have some flashables tomorrow.

I need people to try and get a lock on gps and record how much time it takes to lock on with google maps with the current gps.conf already included. When I get times, I'll post a flashable to change the gps.conf file and then I need times for that too, so I can see which is better and faster.

Wait to get the SII for black Friday, the S3 and 4 have issues with the power button. Its hardware related so custom rom no fixy. SII is great imo

The s2 is a mighty sweet phone. What's nice about it is that it has been around for a minute so it is beyond supported, updates and fixes come out fast as can be, but it's still relevant enough to get all the new stuff. The only thing that isn't working in 4.3 and up is wimax as google has dropped support since LTE is the standard, but all 4.2 and below have 4g. I don't even use 4g though as it's just a battery drain for me.

At the price right now it's a steal ($200 I think). The only thing is that it isn't a tight nit little community like the warp. There is a lot of flaming and thread locks in the XDA boards, people get very pedantic and precise. They will argue with hair splitting logic, and the slightest little shit gets people going. I mean generally it's all good, but it can get silly. The AF forum for the s2 is pretty dead. It all goes down at XDA.

What I need for battery is better signal in Pensacola that's what kills mine lol, if anyone knows a way of any kind I'm all ears lol

Lol yesterday I was checking a way to reuse old satellite dishes, like sky or direct TV, and one was a 3G booster, google it for the specs it seems to work for many people...

I know, I've seen xda threads flare up there... I have an account with them though I very rarely post in there... And yeah it's about $200 after taxes when you get it refurbished I think? I don't know whether to get a refurbished one so I can get it faster or get it new though.

If I could get one, I could probably try my hand at seeing what might be able to be backported, I've already started with a brightness slider in this rom (though it's a lot of smali, some that has to be done from scratch so it'll take a long time)

What seriously?? I wish I had known before... I got rid of one of the dishes I had before but if I had known it could be used as a 3G booster I wouldve been able to test network related stuff myself D:

Guys, I'm thinking of switching out the powernap script in the rom for the original one that locks the phone at 122 mhz with a bit of wakeup lag, but benefiting the battery massively. Y'all okay with this change? After this last overhaul, I'll add the current one in (no lag/less conservation) as an add on in the second post, along with tons of other add-ons since I'm all about customization.
