Help New Prevail May Be Stoned/Doesn't Remember Settings

So, I purchased a New Samsung Galaxy Prevail 2, definately a HUGE upgrade from when I rocked the original prevail for 3 years. For some reason, it doesn't remember That my default keyboard is set to superkeyboard, turns talkback on everytime, tries to unsuccessfully download mobileID app and deletes my lightflow settings, EVERYTIME i restart the phone. Talk about annoying. And after about 24 straight hours of being on, LITERALLY EVERYTHING starts forceclosing constantly one after another. What the hell is going on? This phone was activated December 28th around 12pm Central Time. Done this since i turned it on. How do i stop this? Everything is updated(PRL, Profile, Firmware etc.)

-On a side note, i successfully rooted it using the framaroot apk, and nothing happens any different than before...

On another side note, this phone is totally awesome!

This is def the weirdest phone i've ever owned for reasons such as the ones you've mentioned. My best advice is root with frameroot and install reverbmod from root forum. It will still be weird but you can install sd maid or something to delete mobile id/factory settings/bloatware and get pretty much all the weird quirks ironed out besides (in my case) the system update notifications and voicemail upgrade notifications.
Still annoying but so much better with a stable and trimmed down rom that keeps settings. I use xtweaks (see xda forums) which seems to help a lot.
Or keep stock and wonder just where in the hell this weird am ambiguous phone came from and what error 129 is

format your cache in cwm. all that stuff is stored in cache and if you tried to flash a cm rom then you couldve formatted the cache to a different format ie:yaffs2 or ext3

oh and if it reboots while formatting cache reformat it. through advanced>mounts>format cache not the home option of CWM

Samsung needs to get its ---- together with this phone... I've successfully updated my voicemail app (just keep trying) and disabled the update notification in my notification bar. (long press notification -> about app -> disable notifications. I think it's Google framework or something.) I still get the popup windows but it's much better than having it in my notifications 24/7. one day we'll get a better rom. I have faith in our devs :p
