Pictures will not download

My text messages when I receive pictures they do not download I wonder why anyone have an idea why.

are you running 1.5? this is a known issue with android 1.5.............hard reset kills the corrupted file. otherwise, root or wait for sprint. sucks...but that's how it is.

And just a little warning, hard reset will not permanently fix the problem, so if you don't want to hard reset your phone all the time, the best workarounds are to have pictures emailed to you or go to the sprint picture mail website to view pics that you've received.

it was implied...sorry if i was unclear. yes, HR doesn't fix it forever, but it can relieve the problem for an undetermined amount of time.

Lasted a month for me, but I've heard of worse. I guess it just depends how many pic messages you receive or however long it takes for whatever causes it to happen to happen again... even still, if you don't do a lot of customizations to your phone then hard resetting might not be a big deal, just make sure contacts are saved as "google" and not "phone" so they'll be backed up

Since I wiped and flashed to Fresh 2.0d my picture mail has been working great.

Just another option that has worked for me, its kind of a pain but not really a big deal, is have the person send you the same exact message again. If they double send the same message, the second one will download. Hope this helps.
