Any Verizon unltd data users going to Note 4?

I'm still on the fence. I've been keeping an eye mostly on the Note 4, but I'm still not sure if I want that big of a phone. I'd be buying it full price from Verizon if I do get it just to keep unlimited. Getting the phone on contract with a 3GB plan and subsidized price would only be about $30 or so more than just buying the phone outright. I might wait to see how the Note 4 fares amongst the early adopters :)

...Looks like Verizon backtracked on throttling unlimited users. Now I really have no choice but to keep it!

I have a line with an update due and get Best Buy to apply the discount to that and then swap to my line and get the $200 off too.

BB said it will work to keep unlimited.

Just starting to have doubts. No guarantee on root and I like having Foxfi working on the S4. I can get it to work on the N3, but the N4 is an unknown for root.

Hey rushmore, can you give me some more details? My dad has an upgrade coming, so I could use that to get the Note 4, but I'm not sure how to get all of the discounts you mentioned. Thanks for the info!

I will lose my unlimited data to upgrade, but I have read that there is a 6gb Verizon Max data plan that current unlimited users can get for $30 a month. Apparently Best Buy can do this, but some people say they mess it up. I figure I'm going to call Verizon here soon and ask them if I can downgrade from Unlimited Data to the Max 6gb plan, and see if they can move me down. Then when I go in to upgrade to my Note 4, everything should already be in place.

Hey guitar, I've been told you can sell your unlimited data line for about $500. Something to consider if you're going to make the switch anyway.

Yeah I wanted to do that, but I am on a family plan with my wife and one other phone, and I did some research and from what I can tell it's about impossible to get unlimited data off of that plan, so I figured it was a lost cause, unless someone has experience with this.

Not sure I understood, though you don't need root for FoxFi...I'm using it on my N3 but didn't even think to check to see if it also works on N4....

1. Need a used phone BB would take. Check with BB if your used device is good for the deal.

2. Preorder under the line you will get the contract with.

3. When BB calls, bring your used phone to trade and then get your phone.

If keeping unlimited, ask BB to swap to your sim card and line after the $200 deal is transacted.
