Hi everybody I have this issue
I have activated my phone wifi, and I have my own wifi at home , not through a router but through a single antenna. The ssid is "lol" well, my iPhone gets signal from it plus some others , but my Optimus f6 me tropics won't get any signal from "lol" but from others. Plz help me . I even set my iPhone as a hotspot n the Optimus catches the signal from it, but no luck from my desktop computer antenna. My wifi is set with ad hoc configuration /shared/WEP. Thx in advanced guys, glad to be part of this new community.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

This is your problem. Some (most) Android don't recognize ad hoc networks. You will need to set it up in infrastructure mode for Android to use/recognize it
