[Android Question]

I am not able to make calls on my phone due to the fact that it says on the screen emergency call. I have tried rebooting, taking out battery, turning off, recharging, and nothing gets rid of this problem. When I try to make a call, it states that the number that I am calling is NOT and emergency number. ?? I don't know what else to do. I was able to make a call from my car which is syncd . How can I get rid of that damn emergency number on the bottom of my phone. Please help as I am at my wits end.

Two possibilities that I can think of.

1. The screen lock has been locked out from too many tries (had my kid do this to me)
2. The phone app is stuck behind the lock. Clearing the cache or maybe the data on the app should fix that one.

If you aren't afraid to do it, you could do a factory reset to clear out everything.
