I'm on my second new Verizon G2, but I'm having some battery issues. It's not performing anywhere near as expected, or even as good as the one I had to send back due to other problems.

For example, right now I'm at 16 hours usage, under 3 hours of screen time on, and the battery's at 16%.

My screen is at 45% brightness, one minute time out, location services in battery saving mode, and I remember to close all apps a few times a day. I leave wifi and location on all the time, but never have bluetooth on. The biggest impacts on my battery seem to occur when I leave the house. I can go out for two hours, get two texts, and see a battery drop of 15%.

When I check on what's using the battery the most, screen time is always first followed by android OS and android system, and lesser stuff after that.

Theories? Solutions?
