This is an update from 38R and not the full 44 ROM. Go to Settings > About phone > System updates to get it.

Changes:

• Fixed issues with memory causing screen artifacts
• Fixed issues with random reboots and instability
• Fixed issues with WiFi and modem crashes
• Fixed issues with Filesystem
• Fixed issues with “black bar”
• Fixed issues with persist partition corruption
• Fixed issues with AT&T VoLTE

Apparently, it also contains a new touchscreen firmware and a fix for an SSL security issue.

If you are too impatient to wait for it to be distributed to your phone, you can download the zip from here and flash it via recovery, as long as you've made no changes to the system (xposed, deleting system apps, etc.). You will lose root, but you can just root again.

As always, it's a great idea to wipe the cache partition and Dalvik/ART cache after flashing an update to prevent problems like battery life issues and crashing apps.

Yes, my battery life is even better. But I don't think there are any new features.

That's awesome, must be getting close to two days, possibly more, of moderate use before being tapped-out.

Seriously considering Round 3 w/the 1+1:

NOTE 4 is nice, just rooted-TWRP'ed moments ago (T-MOBILE's version comes w/unlocked bootloader, nice).
However,there are times when I need a 2nd phone & the 1+1 has no peers as far as pure performance goes (IMHO).

Still Unicorn hunting, I'm sure the perfect device (performance + features) is out there somewhere.

I haven't had my touchscreen bug out since this update.. That means its been four days so far since a reset!! Haha.. So far so good on this update

Battery seems slightly improved however this phone has a great battery anyways

Any reports of touchscreen/digitizer issues after the 44S update?

I'm going to be initiating an RMA for a 1+1 that I sold locally,was wondering if a user-installed fix/adjustment might be out & about.

BTW,still diggin' the NOTE4 w/a nice TW ROM,but,now that the $299/16GB version is available,3rd time may be the charm...................

I've never had this issue with my One.

I just submitted an RMA for this moments ago.

The owners issues were mainly inaccurate responses to touch (the touch trace tool in Developers options showed as much as 3/4"-1" difference in actual touch & where area on the screen that was responding).

OnePlus seems to have a better infrastructure in place,quoted response time is now given as 3 business days.
I'll keep you guys & girls posted on the outcome.
