Root Stealth Dial Pad for R10

Here is a stealth looking dialer for R10 Galaxy. I think it looks pretty sweet, so I thought I would share. Note that this is just the regular dialer, not the one used during calls.
Black notification bar is in another post by me.

Buttons glow blue when you touch them.

adb push Contacts.apk /system/app

No need to reboot after, launcher will crash and relaunch and you're good to go Let me know what ya think!

I have a question,how did you make buttons black?I edited phone.apk and i can lolorise buttons "pushhed" but regular buttons photoshop or gimp editor wont let me add color to them,what image editor did you use?

gimp will do it! the problem you are likely having is that the image file's color is either indexed or in greyscale mode, but to add color you need to set the image mode to RGB. so, open the png file with gimp and in the menu bar click "image" then "mode" then select "RGB". now you can colorize adjust hues...everything.

It's not in phone APK. The regular dialer is in Contacts.apk

Thats what i was using Gimp.Im gonna try setting it to RGB.thegame3202 good looks for the tip,i themed phone.apk and dialer changed but the incall dialer not the regular one,im bout to try Contacts.apk

Its nice,i want to change the color of the whole buttons like sony xperia,if i cant im gonna use yours,i dint know that you had it posted,you need to advertise better or i need to search forums better,lol.

"Colorize operates only on RGB color layers" is what Gimp tells me(win7),what settings i need to change?It says that for certain dual layer files like badge_action_call.png ,but other files i can edit.

Why don't you try reading my post again. I said you need to change mode to RGB! See some files already are RGB some are indexed and some are greyscale that's why some edit right away and others you must change. Also if using mulitple layers with different settings you should merge the layers

I have to agree, but it can be a complicated program for new users. It's what I used to make all my themes with. I use it on my Fedora OS it's a lot less buggy on linux.

Yeah man its cool,its the internet what can you do?lol.On topik though,do ya know if buttons need to be certain size/shape or i can make them from scratch in any shape?If so how do i make them clear?I would try it but dont want to reflash my phone if things go wrong.

I'm not sure. If it doesn't work you can always boot into recovery and push the original file back.

the pixel size of the original image has to be the same. to get clear you need to learn how to use gimp. it supports editing with an alpha channel (clear). when you push it to the phone it will work immediately, if it doesn't work just push the original file back.
