overpriced? probably. underpowered POS for sure? Dozens of positive posts from actual users on here say otherwise. it gives extended battery life as it should, what else are you looking for?

it's not oversized either. not sure where you get your info from.

the ONLY scientific test I've seen puts it at about 80% of what it claims for capacity.

Clairvue and Boxwave are supposed to be pretty much the same thing so go with either of those companies. Or you can just buy them off their ebay store like everyone else is doing.

Thanks on input. I'll check those out.

About ebay, WHERE? I searched "SGP Steinheil Incredible" and "SGP Steinheil HTC". I don't see any flavor for DINC. Are people getting for a different model that also fits DINC?

I was thinkkng of cancelling mine for the same reason I got 30 hours off my stock with light to medium usage.

Seido is going to become rich from htc's problem :)

Oh well never hurts to have a spare battery lying around

I agree but i am not desperate right now. thanks to that trick.
I still like having two batteries as well and will buy something but i might
just wait a few weeks/month.

Someday a great standard/accessory slim battery (5000 mAH) will be developed to supply smart-phones, right now the BATTERY seems to be their achilles heel.

Its Ridiculous to not use your smart-phone in order to get good battery life, and makes no sense to turn off features which makes a smart-phone... well SMART.

Everyone has a plan/strategy to get better battery life, turn off bluetooth, lower brightness, don't use GPS, Turn off Apps, leave Apps alone, turn off data, don't use LIVE WALLPAPERS, stay off internet, don't use camera, lower this and shut off that, here's a tip to great battery life... keep your phone turned off.

Back to reality... USE YOUR PHONE, ENJOY IT.

here's a secret i learned from a cell phone developer... not many people know this... carry two extra slim batteries and switch them when the phone battery runs low. Pass it on.

I got my long awaited Seidio extended battery today. It's flimsy to say the least. The sides (top and bottom) seem to be separate pieces that just happen to be wrapped in the same paper. The HTC battery feels like one solid piece. The battery also seems to be a hair larger than my HTC battery and as a result the back case doesn't fit quite perfectly snugly. I can see a little red peaking through between the screen and the back plate. I'm charging it right now with the phone off. When it's full I'm going to see if it's just curved from the packaging and I'll try to flatten it out. Any special charge instructions? Do you think I got a lemon/ should I return it?

Gosh I sure hope this isn't the case. I just ordered one of these.

Yes, they are by far the best cases you can buy for your phone. They make things a little bulky, but the protection is worth it.

I love these cases so much, I will not buy a phone until Otterbox has a case available for it.

Yes, you heard right, the only thing keeping from owning an Incredible is the lack of an Otterbox case.

Soon. Soon...

;)

Same here! Although I also am keeping my eye on this bad boy.

Seidio - Your Single Source for Premium Smartphone Accessories

It appears to be like an otterbox that you can separate into layers and also has a belt clip! If it looks like it can do the job I may just go with whichever is released first.

Just saying..... my experience with the seidio 1750. Why does everyone have to go postal? It doesn't fit, there is a gap at one side of the phone. I showed a picture.

The amount of extra time you get with this claimed 1750 isn't worth the amount you are paying for it. There is no way that battery has that much capacity. If you think you're getting your monies worth, I'm happy for you. I don't.

I've used this battery in 2 HTC phones. It didn't fit properly in the eris either.

Is it better than the stock battery? Marginally better, not enough to justify the price.

It's amazing when you voice your opinion about something in this place you get these bandwagon people. No, it can't be like that or we don't believe you or your a troll. I swear, it's like I'm talking to a bunch of 10 year old spoiled brats.

You wanna drop $50 bucks (or whatever, so I'm not mis-quoted. God forbid I said the gap was on the bottom of the phone not the top, etc.) go right ahead.

If you do get a battery that fits incorrectly call sedio support. They will ask for a picture of the cover not fitting (which I sent) properly. All they will say is send it back, refund. Yet on that very website it says that it uses the existing back cover:
"This model fits in your device's existing battery space and doesn't require a replacement door".

BS. Wanna ignore me? Good, then you will not know the truth about this battery.

I'm holding out for the nuclear mini-battery, which will be standard issue with the new 6G thought-controlled 'droid phone Verizon will have next summer.

This always makes me laugh when someone mentions "nuclear battery" since the only thing fission is good for is providing heat for a steam cycle which actually produces the electricity. Try cramming a power plant with all that equipment into a slim cell. What you want is a fuel cell. If only you could cram enough hydrogen into such a small space, but I don't know if I want a hydrogen fuel bomb upside my head either. :D

Just an FYI, I spoke to 2 different customer service representatives, one late yesterday and one today, and both told me that they have been informed that all planned Droid Incredible accessories will be available on or before the 26th of May.

I don't know if that's accurate, but I did have two separate conversations to verify that the first rep's information was valid.
