Help Galaxy core prime -Make SD default

is this possible?

I can literally only store 2 games and even if I move them to the SD card...all the updates and what not move directly into the phones internal storage.

I bought ab 8gb sd card and it basically barely does me any good.

is this possible?

Not without rooting the device, no. If rooted there are apps that will fool the OS into thinking that a partitioned area of the SD card is part of internal storage.

Android 6.x (Marshmallow) allows an external card to be formatted as internal storage, but (a) bad things still happen if the card becomes unavailable i.e. is ejected or fails and (b) I've doubts whether the Core Prime will receive an official update to that OS version.

how exactly do you root it? is it safe to do so?

if so, is there a step by step guide by chance?

thank you
The best way to root the core prime is to use Kingroot. It is a one click Method.
Their is no DEV work done on this drive yet so no Roms or recovery.
You can use exposed to make a lot of tweaks and changes though.

The best way to learn about partitions is to search for videos on you tube. [emoji217]
