Help Manually upgrade Android 4.2.2 to Lollipop 5.0

Hi,
I have a Huawei Ascend Y600 which is currently running Jellybean 4.2.2, I would like to upgrade it to Lollipop 5.0, I tried doing system update from the settings but it says no update found.. So can I get a step by step guide to upgrade it ??
Before you try the custom ROM you should know some extra aspects first:

● Must keep back-up for your personal data properly.
● The battery power should be more than 79% before starting the customization.
● You need to make sure for enabling the USB Debugging mode.
● You can operate wipe cache partition as well as wipe dalvik before you reboot your device if the device gets stuck while booting or during the installation.

How to Upgrade/Update Huawei Ascend Y600 To 5.0 Lollipop:
1. Follow the download link for downloading Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM for your Huawei Ascend Y600 .
2. Now install completely the ROM Manager into your device. You can get that from Google Play store. Then install the clockwork mod recovery.

3. Connect the device to your PC by the USB cable. Now copy the ROM.zip file you have already downloaded into your memory drive.

4. Now restart your Huawei Ascend Y600 in recovery mode. You need to use ROM Manager for this operation.

5. Erase the total data including Delvik Cache from the recovery menu. After completing, come back in the recovery main menu. Then choose the Flash ROM from your memory drive. Now navigate the address where you put the ROM.zip file. It is the time when you need to follow the directions to install Android 5.0 Lollipop and to Update Huawei Ascend Y600 To 5.0 Lollipop. As early as the total installation is done, only reboot your Huawei Ascend Y600 .

Thanks, I have a few questions :
1. Which memory drive do I copy the ROM.zip to, could tell me the exact directory ?
2. What do you mean by the recovery mode ?
3. ROM Manager and Clockwork mod recovery are same ?

You need to root the phone before you can do any of that. The procedure for doing that is different for different devices. As altering the system software that way also gives you the tools to mess the phone up, I recommend doing the reading necessary to understand what you are doing first.

As I don't know this device I'm afraid I can't tell you how to do this. Just warning you that you need to do some other work before you can follow those instructions.

But it's that or stay with the software you have. Android as to be built for the specific device, so if your manufacturer hasn't produced an update then root followed by custom ROM (where someone has written one for the device) is the only option.

@Anwar Abir can you confirm the method you've linked is valid? Have you tried it yourself or have you just googled and posted the first link you can find?

The download link prompts me to fill in a survey before I can download the required files which leads me to believe it's completely bogus and spam.

ROM Manager doesn't even look to be compatible with the Y600: https://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager

All of the links I can find relating to Lollipop on the Y600 appear to be spammy and similar to the link Anwar provided.

@Mohammad Fahad please don't attempt anything using the link provided as it's not going to work. I can't find anything to suggest lollipop is available in any form (official or custom) for your device, sorry.
