Boost new deals,

They tend to just let you hotspot for free you will have to ask your dev
They do. I was actually using it last night for a few minutes. Didn't want to use it too much, risking getting my data disabled or something. But now will I be able to use it without worry, for the most part?

Sorry about asking all this, I'm just making sure. I did look on the boost site earlier. Said the same thing.[emoji14]

Other plans... hotspot usage comes from your data limit.

*Hotspot: Hotspot draws from applicable data allotment. $60 Unlimited Plan: For $60 Unlimited plan, data depriotization applies during congestion. Hotspot data capped at 8GBs.Available with select devices only.

Does anyone know when the hotspot thing is supposed to kick in or if the Moto E is supported for it? I read in the fine print that its available with select devices only. I can't find anything anywhere if the Moto E is supported.

I restored my stock ROM back temporarily just to test but it wouldn't let me turn on the hotspot.

Thanks. When I restored it, I noticed I had a pending software update. Could that be a reason why?

When I was trying to get it working, I also updated the profile and my PRL. That didn't help.

I paid my bill yesterday. I'm probably gonna wait for the next billing cycle to start. Which is after midnight I think, then I'll try it again. I'll probably try it again tomorrow lol.

When I paid my bill yesterday, I asked about it and she said since I have the $60 plan then I should have 8 gigs free hotspot.

Anyway, if anything, I'll probably try it once more tomorrow when the next billing cycle kicks in.

Anyway thanks.

Anyone here on one of the growing monthly plans? After how many months did you get the extra 500MB? I never recieved extra data after 4 months of on time payments, and that does not include the first month's payment when I signed up for the plan. After contacting CS thru FB they simply said I would get the extra data next month. So in total I will have made 5 on time payments plus the first month's payment to finally get the first data increase. Anyone here got their data without having to contact boost?

It doesn't seem to be working automatically as planned. I have 3 months in, Nov, Dec, Jan.
My account settings online even show 3 ontime payments, no extra 500mb yet.

My phone cant start hotspot either still, gets Network Error. Its a Boost branded phone.

PS They also just retooled the BoostZone app again. It seems like an upsell big time. You don't have to sign to see your usage, but the My Account shows your usage (say min used) and so many other BuyNow upsells right next to it. The very bottom in faint blue letters, are the "tabs" to view text-data-ect. Each tab shows yours first, then several upsell boxes all right next to it.

I was never planning on running this, but that screenshot should tell others not to use it.

Bummer you may not get it after dealing with it all month......and you need to leave WiFi on for a "chance" of earning? That carrot is super thin.

I dont leave WiFi on unless Im connected to it. Why waste your battery

BSTFreeMsg: $5.00 has been added to your acct. To view details, log into My Account online or on your phone. Thanks & we hope you enjoy your service

Received credit for the dealz app. I didn't do anything special. Turned ad blocker off most of the time. Never clicked thru an ad. WiFi off most of the time.
