Root [H631/MS631] CyanogenMod 12.1 for LG G Stylo

@Jandroi , patience is a virtue my friend. The devs working on our phones are currently busy with getting our phones to update to Marshmallow and root. Afaik, they have succeeded in doing so. Ill be trying to do so tomorrow. Soon , if you would like to go with my guess, we will have CM13. But as I said, patience is a virtue, and filling these pages with the same question over and over, after it has already been answered, is not only rude but one of the quickest ways to have our amazing developers in these forums cease further development.

The older G Stylo screens are of better quality compared to the newer ones. Also, the older Stylos have the screen off issue with brady's CM build. I've been off for a while so, I don't know if it has been fixed yet.

New screen is cheap af and flickers if you have your brightness anywhere near 50%, as well as requires Roms and recoveries to be built specifically for it.

Guess I have the old one. Whoop, thank you swappa!

Yeah my father has an og Stylo and I have a newer one. The difference is noticeable and really annoying honestly.

Anyway to fix flickering? Unplugged mine from the charger and now it is flickering. Tried flashing the mm kdz but I won't flash.

No it isn't software related in the slightest. It's the cheaper screen, it just does that and the only way it stops is either leave the screen off or lower your brightness. That's all I know really.

Cleaned it with a Windex knock off and it went away( most likely just went away by itself haha). They had to make the phone cheaper in order to start offering that rebate I guess.

Never even had one flicker problem on my new stylo that's weird.

that explains EVERYTHING i just recently got my lg g stylo replaced because the screen would flicker BADLY and it would always go to sleep mode and think i double tapped it and would turn back on it was annoying, but now its replaced havent had any problems yet and as of yesterday flashed the tmobile marshmallow because metro hasnt released it yet, alls well in lg g stylo land

very tempting lol.

went and got a Stylo......my charge port on the zmax started to refuse seeing the cable......
it'll charge if you find the perfect angle....i tried cleaning the port of lint...but, it did'nt really have any dirt at all.
i tried several cords.....sooooooo.....
i've allready used the kingroot /terminal su update method......
had a scare because i forgot to unlock the OEM thingy...but,all that caused was refusal of TWRP ...
got lucky....

uhhhh...did anyone trouble shoot the issues with the release?
or are they just accepted and werked around?
i tried to read the whole forum...i drank and ate myself into oblivion yday..so..
i can read it ...
another day if no one wants to waste time on an answer....i understand .
stock lollipop is new to me.....without any work arounds...maybe vanilla rooted is cool for a while
