Another $100?

HTC has revived the pre-order deal that took $100 off purchase price. This time it's also open to carrier purchased devices and people who purchased their devices from HTC after the original offer expired. It's all in the article I linked to at pocketnow. I got in on the pre-order deal and am hoping I can get in on it again. I love free money. ;)

I just received my code - almost exactly 1 month after I entered my details on the http://www.htc.com/us/htc-accessories-offer/ page, which is what it said to expect.

The problem I have is that the original web page still states in the terms-and-conditions:

6. Coupon code must be used within 30 days of issue. Codes entered after expiration will have zero value.

But the E-mail I got with my code - the E-mail was sent Sep 15, and says my code expires Sep 22. And of course nothing I would want is in stock. At first I thought that was fine, since I knew the code was good for 30 days, but then I checked the mail and saw it was only valid for 7 days.

I just used the Contact Us link to enter a complaint - I will have to see if they will extend it to the 30 days they promised in the Terms and Conditions.

HTC contacted me the day after the code expired, saying that would extend it to the full 30 days as the offer had promised.

Now I just hope something better than 5 USB-c cables will show up in stock before that time elapses.
