Hi.

I want to purchase a 10 inch Android Netbook. I mostly want to use it to write my novel. The device comes with Android 4.2. Will I be able to update to Android 7?

I purchased Office Suite Pro off Google Play and want to use it to write my novel with - but I'm sure it'll run on Android 4.2.

If the device is reasonably new, yes, you will be able to update it. If to doesn't ask you to automatically go to settings>system updates>check for new version/software

That 4.2 appears to just be the model, not the version though. I think it'll do fine.

That definitely states "Android 4.2 ice cream sandwich", with a cheap little dual-core CPU. I'd say it's very old stock, probably about 4-5 years. And not upgradeable at all, with it being cheapo from an unknown manufacturer.

I don't think anyone even makes Android netbooks anymore. Can buy new tablets with optional keyboards, or use Bluetooth keyboard.
