Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact make official debut

Why do Sony assume that the Compact only needs half of the storage of the larger device? They do a good job of matching specs generally, but they did this with the Z3 Compact and I think the Z1. I'd hoped that they'd learned when they matched the Z5 in the Z5 Compact, but nope, here is that one unnecessary and illogical corner cut again.

So damn true. All I want is the EXACT same hardware are the bigger model, but shrunken down for the Compact. Also can't compromise on anything less than 1080p, so 720p is a big let down.
