I love cnet reviews, they typically give good info about the phones, and though many of their gripes are petty, its nearly always obvious to me whether I would care about the issues or not. Very informative. Anyway, here's their take on the EVO:
HTC Evo 4G - black (Sprint) Smartphone reviews - CNET Reviews
/not a plug
edit:
Upon reading the review, it looks like this could be like, the best phone evar. Unfortunately Sprint has realized this and apparently wants to charge us for every damn feature that makes the phone worth having... including a mandatory $10 charge for the 4G, whether you can use it in your home region or not. Cnet also speculates Sprint will charge for the video chat service. Ugh.
Makes me glad I won't be able to get it for cheap till Nov 1, at which time hopefully Sprint's money-grab mindset will be sated.
