How to save contacts in Gmail?

I'm trying to keep/save new and existing email senders as contacts, but I can't see how to do it. Can anyone help?

Do you mean in the sent section? And what do you mean when you say "click on the name"?

sorry......not sure, but i think i had too much to drink yesterday.....LOL

so in the gmail android app (for whatever reason) you can't add a contact directly from an email......i know seems really ridiculous. you have to copy and paste the email address into the contacts app. or if you open the gmail in your web browser then my previous post stands.

in your web browser....open gmail. select an email. tap on the name or email address and a pop up should appear with the option to add to contact.

I'm wondering how my gmail is locked? And of course I don't know which account and the other.
I have a device with Android 9, which is locked after the invoice reset of my phone and the password will go to Google account
Please help me find out how this password is. </p>
