Help I would like to ask is it possible to share my usb tethered android phone internet to my modem.

Soo a tl;dr
Im a poor **** who wants to play pcvr wirelessly with oculus quest, hence i need a router with internet and same network for my main pc and the vr headset.

Got a new phone, and apparently it's usb tethering doesn't work with modems for one reason or another, Asus themselfs said their modem doesn't support the brand, and the store i bought the phone from doesn't allow returns as corona is a thing.

I would like to ask is it possible to share my usb tethered android phone internet to my modem through the lan port in my mobo using ethernet, i've googled somewhat that it should be possible.

But for the starters, i don't have a "sharing" tab on my mobile phones ethernet network properties and cant toggle the multiplexor protocol on, but i can see the sharing tab on my router properties. Need some help, thanks in advance.

Sure, but from a monthly 200€ budget for living expenses, 30€ on top of it sounds like a nono to my wallet.

Could not find anything helpful from there at first glance, i just wanna share my desktop internet to my modem, as the cursed thing (modem) wont work with straight usb tethering from my nokia 3.4 (previously had the same issue with the same model modem and a Oneplus 8 pro), and it seems to be the modem side issue, and yes, i tried a custom firmware/OS on the modem and got no different results, aka most likely hardware blocked to accept any other type of mobile device than what they have allowed to, at least that's my guess. Or the modem simply cant handle USB C connections.

PDA NET will get you out of peril..
It shares through usb, bluetooth and wifi..you choose what ever you prefer..you have to get a little smart to set it up.

I would like to share my mobile internet to my pc, and share my pc's internet to my Asus RT-AC51U modem by lan. From the modem my setup goes to a 5gb internet switch that splits the internet 2 ways, to my home pc and to my home theater pc, i use obs ndi so i needed the switch.

Well that's a WiFi access point router, and NOT a modem. Which is really intended to connect via wired Ethernet to the connection an ISP provides into a premises, like DSL, fibre, or cable.

Where you insert your SIM, and Internet is provided by your wireless carrier's 3G/4G network. Maybe that's an option, given your circumstances?

Ah, sorry for the wrong term, that's what they are called in my native laguage, and yes, im familiar with diffrent types of routers, and cant really afford/ dont want to pay for 2 different internet contracts, previously i've simply connected my phone to my router and shared the internet through that, but seems like my router doesent support my phone, so i need another way to forward my smartphones internet to my router.

Then again..the PDA NET has wifi capabilities..it works all around the house just like a simple wifi..can connect as many devices as you please..the only thing is you must have unlimited data access though your carrier..the range is pretty good too..just as a regular wifi.

So with this you don't need not bs router, not other machinery, not annoying cables..none of that..just your phone with the app installed on it..plus the devises you want to access its internet through it.

Ah, yes, that would work in case of simple wifi, what i need is a stable high end connection through ethernet between my main pc, streaming/rendering pc(obs NDI) and a 5ghz atleast 733mbs wifi for my oculus quest( Virtual Desktop, no possibility for tethered connection), and also preferrably a way to manage the traffic, so that when im straming vr for example, my vr view is the last link to suffer incase of internet dips. Considering my needs, i'd say a wireles router is the best bet, i just need to get my phone's internet into it again.
