Is the sound quality only difference between cheaper and more expensive wireless Bluetooth earbuds?

Not necessarily. I bought some low-cost Edifier BT earbuds, and they sound great. And certainly as good as more expensive BT earbuds I'd bought previously.

FYI Bluetooth doesn't emit harmful radiation, It's not like plutonium or something.

OP was likely referring to non-ionizing radio frequency radiation, which IS harmful above certain levels. That is why communications transmitter antennae are on towers: not only to increase range, but to provide a safe distance from people and pets.

Considering that the battery life of such earbuds is probably no more than four or five hours of continuous use at best, however, the risk of injury is negligible.

skullcandy have been pretty good to me......though have not tried their earbuds though. their in ear headphones are great at a very cheap price.

and as far as radiation or radio frequency radiation...........don't know anything about them nor do i care really......so far so good as far as my health goes
