I'm there with ya Chief. Thanks Treb, and she is snarky... I'm probably the only person on the Internet that doesn't do Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest or TikTok. And I'm (briefly) on FB maybe twice a month.

My sister-in-law kept a sign posted in her kitchen, "Dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off." Until I witnessed it myself, I never knew a out of water (nothing else in it) could actually burn. Yes, I had to grab the fire extinguisher.
I assume that's a series of typos and you meant a "pan of water...could." Heaven help you if your sister-in-law is cooking children! My sister-in-law kept a sign posted in her kitchen, "Dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off." Be proud kindergarden graduation is a big deal these days, remember in today's society, everybody gets a medal.Do I look like I finished college? 🤣🤣
That's worrisome, not "everybody" needs a metal. But I'll admit, today's society thinks even misdeeds deserve a reward.Be proud kindergarden graduation is a big deal these days, remember in today's society, everybody gets a medal.
I was being sarcastic. I'm totally with you. When my daughter was younger I would not allow her to accept participation trophies. You don't go places in life by just "showing up." The wife and her didn't like it at the time, but now that she's older and understands it she thanked me for doing it. She said it made her work harder for things. I think it worked because she has a full ride academicly and athletically at a Division 1 school where she plays soccer. That's worrisome, not "everybody" needs a metal.
