Is it just me or is anybody else not feeling the 2-piece design? It just doesn't look good to me and not sure I can live with it.

Better than the 2-piece that verizon sells, IMO. I'm thinking this is a better designed case with it not falling apart when it drops like some people have reported in the forums. The back design...yeah, that's going to take some time getting used to but at least they sell it in nice pretty colors.

Yes I am. I guess that top bottom split will give it more stability if it drops, but it's not pretty to look at.

Im telling you it's not as noticable as it appears in pictures. The two parts fit together perfectly so the seems really blend. It also makes it much easier to take the case on and off. For my storm I had the innocase which was front and back and that thing was a PIA to remove. Also, the more you take it on and off the less secure it became.

Yeah, I had an innocase for my HTC Touch a couple years ago which was front and back. And you're right, while it looked a bit better, the more I took it on and off, the worse it got. It eventually got to the point that a couple of the little clips (connection points) broke and made it almost unusable. Thanks for the info.

it this thicker than the hardcases that verizon sells. I have the red and black fade case and it apprears to be thinner? My Innocase is on its way...but i will be really disapointed if it is thicker than the Verizon cases. The ones for my motodroid were only 1mm thick or something. I was hoping that these would be this thin too? anyone that has both want to do a compare and contrast, and post??? :D

Again, this is a Steinheil Clear protector that (in my humble opinion) is applied as near to perfect as I can get it.

It does look perfect. I'm getting the same screen protector and was wondering if I should start the application at the top or down by the optical joystick to get it on the phone the best way possible. Which way did you put it on? I am worried if I start at the speaker it will be off center on the optical joystick  Any tips for applying the crystal clear?

Unfortunately the tab to peel of the backing is at the speaker end, which mean that it should start there. But line it up (without applying it) at the joystick to see how you need to position the speaker end, because the protector it is a little smaller than the screen, which means you want to make sure the joystick hole (WOW, that sounds nasty!) lines up.

Did that make sense?

I also have the Steinheil. Mine didn't come out quite as well. the area by the joy stick aren't bubbles, but it just wont lay down. I'm saving my second protector for now.

Seido 1750 gives me at least two hours more of heavy use, so I am happy with it. Two hours heavy use means about four hours moderate and a lot more on standby. For trips, I will keep the 1300mah charged for backup. I like the VZW black silicon case and silicon cases options will be less for the 2150 with bigger cover.

I agree... my 1750 slim battery works for me, i ordered a 4 AA battery mobile charger, i'll see how that works.

I went from a Body Glove hard case to this HTC case. The Hard case was cool and super protective, but bulky as hell. It also interfered with the typing and swiping at the edge of the screen.
This HTC one is very thin, and literally hugs the outside edges so it doesnt get in the way of typing / swiping the screen at all. I love the case except for two things (and i usually go completely naked with all my phones).
1.) It collects lint / debris like a mofo. It would be cool if we could treat it with something that would stop that.
2.) Its pretty soft, so the lint and debris and whatever else tend to go underneath the case itself and collect inside of it. However since it is so soft its super easy to just take it off and clean it.

Im sure there are better cases out there and will be in the future, but for now this one suits my needs well. I would go naked with this phone, but the camera really sticks out the back... and i set it down on its back.
