Couple questions please:

What do the 4 asterisks in
Incoming mail port #: 995, ****>> secure connection (SSL) checked
and
Outgoing mail port #: 465, ****>> secure connection (SSL) set
mean. What is supposed to go there?

also, do you select plain SSL or SSL accept all certificates?

Thank you

Did you get this working the way you wanted?

I've got u-verse service, with my old ported/merged bellsouth.net account, and use IMAP for mail and it works great for me.

Don't all u-verse email accounts have access to use the ATT/Yahoo mail portal for webmail access?

Here's my settings if it helps any.

Incoming settings:

Protocol: IMAP
Email address: xxxxxxxxx@bellsouth.net
Username: xxxxxxxx@bellsouth.net
Password: xxxxxxxxxxxx
IMAP server: android.imap.mail.yahoo.com
Security type: SSL
Server port: 993

Outgoing settings:

Username: xxxxxxx@bellsouth.net
Password: xxxxxxxxxxx
SMTP Server: android.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Security type: SSL
Server Port: 465
