Dropped my Incredible!!! :-(

Dropped it today onto a hard surface. Screen is broken. Shows up half black. Had it for less than 30 days. Would it be possible to get a new phone instead of a refurb?

This is so scary for me. I had a blackberry before which i dropped quite a few times so am dreading my first drop of the desire

That must be mqking you feel incredibly sad right now (excuse the pun, it had to be done). Did you take out insurance, because I don't think warranty will cover it. However insurance can be worse, I was meant to claim my phone as stolen on the same day as loosing it, and get the sim blocked, it didn't matter that I came down with swine flu at the time, they still wouldn't pay up.

Nope. You can't return it (the only way to get a new one) broken. Insurance replacements are always refurbs.
