Hotmail on Desire

My gmail account has no problem getting push email. However, is there a way to enable my hotmail to receive the same treatment?

I haven't even been able to set up my hotmail address yet. It's a hotmail.co.uk address.

My hotmail acct's just set up as any other mail account!

Just start add new acct mail wizard... in my settings I've got:-

pop server = pop3.live.com
security type = SSL
Server Port = 995

Sending:-

login req = tick

smtp server = smtp.live.com
security type = TLS
server port = 587

Finish

You'll not get push on anything other than gmail / googlemail I dont think. Everything 3rd party will be the standard up-to-15-minutes-until-received treatment.

At least My fiance's Hero with Yahoo is like that

Thanks, mate. That seems to have worked. I can access my inbox without problems, but I don't seem to be able to send e-mail.

Edit: All sorted now! Silly me! I mis-typed smtp - I typed stmp instead!
