Options to transfer music to the EVO?

OK, I just finished using that program. All the music is on my phone, however, it doesn't all work. I don't know what music formats the Evo supports, and I don't know what music formats all of my music is in (cough cough stupid Limewire). If I knew which it supported, then it would be a simple matter of converting my songs.

I still can't figure out why I want my music on here so bad... I am going to use my iPod for music, not my phone... what am I doing?!?!?

Here is a... WHY IS MY ENTIRE SENTENCE HYPERLINKED???? OK so I can't stop this hyperlink so get used to it lol. Anyways it's a walkthrough on using iTunes on your Evo with a program called iTunes Agent.

Also (hey, were back to normal!) I don't think you can directly play DRM locked music on it, but if you found a converter you should be able to convert it to regular MP3 format, minus the DRM. I use the RealPlayer program to convert songs. Very user friendly.

baw, I have sound taxi but didn't want to go through the trouble of converting all of my music. I guess I should get started.......

Yea the music library with different formats, I feel ya man. I just end up converting everything to mp3 format. Few different programs out there that will do it and even leave the original files there also. Media Monkey is a good program for organizing your library. There are many different ones out there, I just have everything in mp3 to save the headaches.

I sync wirelessly with iTunes and my EVO using Tunesync. It works great, no problems so far. I tried doubletwist and the music was getting transferred with no album art.

Only bad thing is its not free, but so worth it...iPhones don't even have this feature!

I might have to try this just so I can say I did it lol. I do enjoy using iTunes.

So, what is easy and better than Limewire?

Google Blog Search. I think it's blogsearch.google.com then you get a link to rapidshare, mediafire, megaupload or another site that hosts the file just as a zip or rar. It's fantastic.

Just to let you know, when you ask a question and find the solution, it's only proper forum etiquette to post the answer in your edited post. Not just post that the problem was solved...

That said, a lot of people don't know that Vuze has device support.

If you plug in your Evo while Vuze is running it should detect it and create a profile for it. If you drag and drop music or video to the Evo in Vuze it will automatically convert and transfer it for you.
