If I use Titanium Backup to backup and restore apps from 2.1 in order to prepare to flash this 2.2 ROM should I not backup any 2.1 update1 items? Or should I just update all apps and system data? thanks

DON'T restore system data. The rule of thumb for TiBu restore is that it's okay to restore anything with white or green font -- stay away from anything with red font!!
To the guys who have posted mirror or torrent links to the ROM file, let me first say that it's really nice of you to do so -- but please also note that Pete has a download tracker on his link and he wants to track downloads. He has asked that no mirror sites or other download links, outside of those he might add, be posted. Thanks in advance for adhering to Pete's wishes here!
I'll just note that it's set to internal by default, but as Icedemon noted, you can easily change that with the apps2sd scripts in the BB Toolkit Script Helper.
Wow, yanno, I didn't notice that. But yeah, me too. I'm running the SteelBeast theme over it w/ Jake's 1GHz. It goes to DL, you can see it in the notification bar, but then it disappears from there. If you go to the app, it says "Cancel DL" at the bottom, but the progress bar is completely empty.
I'm sure it's not a coincidence that two people w/ themes experienced this. I'll deal w/ this manana. Later peeps.
Guessing this has been addressed before, but I am not finding the info when looking. Is there a way I can get my fresh install to sync up with the market and download my apps as I have done with other ROM's? Any file I can edit or command to run?

Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong (I haven't yet flashed this ROM as I'm waiting for Fab to update his NexTheme for it), but I believe once the ROM is loaded up you just go into Accounts & Sync in your phone settings and then sign in with your Google account.
My Quadrant benchmark (1528), running a full load (103 non-system apps, modded NexTheme, very heavy SH2 home replacement theme and themed version of Swype. I'm using Chevy's 1.1Ghz LV kernel.

I can remove mine. Too many times in the past either roms or themes are on file hosting sites which blow, or the servers they are on can't handle the bandwidth, so I thought torrents are the perfect solution to both, since they aren't hosted on servers, rather everyones computer. Anyway I'll take mine down.

I tried that essentially. I think I went to the market first, so it was already setup from that. I tried to uncheck the settings in general sync there and it rebooted my phone (did not save the settings). In the specific account settings I have options for contacts, gmail and calendar. Nothing specific about applications though, but I don't recall if that is actually an option.
I just downloaded this and its pretty cool but its not me. I tried to restore one of my backups and I got stuck on the motorola logo. I tried to fix permissions, manual recovery, use rom manager to restore and Im still getting stuck @ the motorola logo. And ideas on how to get past this?? Thanks
Can someone confirm that Swype works with BB0.3? I loaded it up and then immediately loaded Fab's DroidX theme on top of it so I'm not sure which one killed Swype. If someone can confirm that Swype works with plain BB0.3 then I'll assume that means that the theme killed it and go back to fresh 0.3.
quick question, if I am currently running the preivious version of BB, do how do I install this update? over the current one? I am assuming I need to back up all my apps correct?
