*DROOLS* IM INLOVE WITH MY PHONE ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE YOU GOOGLE....I LOVE YOU FROYO!!!!!

Im not even going to use ADW anymore....my home is smooth and beautiful as is :) lol

haha, same here :D Loving my Nexus!!! It's as smooth as silk, but I'll keep my LaucherPro, lol, I like the customizable dockbar and hidden notification.

I'm having one issue with froyo.....when I type a message my buttons no longer vibrate. My back, home, search and menu button all vibrate....but the letters on my keyboard don't. Anyone else have this problem?
Go into the keyboard setting and select 'vibrate on keypress' for some reason, that got resetted.

Does anyone know if one of the devs has ported the HTC Sense keyboard for 2.2? lol I really need this keyboard!

As it happens, I do. In fact, it is my preferred method, since (due to time differences) I am generally in bed when an update is released :D

Yes, this method seems to be the easiest/fastest method. I don't know why all of the instructions make you use download it onto your computer and use as USB to transfer the file.

This is what I used:

GSM Nexus Owners (AT&T/Rogers/Telus etc.) can get it here :

http://android.clients.google.com/packages/passion/signed-passion-FRF85B-from-EPE54B.75b107d6.zip

Also, for those who do not know how to update manually:

Rename the downloaed file to update.zip

Put it at the root of your SD-Card and then turn off the phone.

Hold down the volume button and then press the power on button, it should go into a boot screen. Wait for a few seconds for it to load up proper and then select "Recovery" with the volume down/up button and press the power button.

Once you see an android holding a sign with an exclamation mark push volume down+ volume up + power button _at the same time_.

Select "apply sdcard:update.zip"(or something similiar) with the trackball and press it.

After the update is finished select "reboot system now" with the trackball and press it.

Wait for it to reboot, it can take a long time mind you.

UGH! I just tried this and now my phone is stuck on the screen with the android and exclamation mark. Im afraid to power off or battery pull or anything. Help?

EDIT: It worked, Im fine, Im an idiot. Love seeing almost 300mb of available memory!

I haven't received an OTA Ans when I dial CHECKIN I just get a conffirmation saying checkin. Successful... am I doing something wrong? Should I wait for the OTA or do the DLthrough my computer? Do I have to be rooted to do it through computer? Thanks for the help!
