thanks. I did notice that things do seem to be speeding up.

going from an htc kaiser to the incredible so a big speed upgrade. 600mhz or something like that I think lol. I've played around with android on my kaiser using Nand and while windows mobile can be pretty sexy android still blows it out of the water for performance. Eye candy isn't bad either. Disappointed about froyo delayed till Christmas though. Rooting time once it gets here I guess.

Hello everyone. Just got my phone today. I can't believe I actually get a chance to say this, but this phone is so awesome and it is defiantly worth the wait. Although your significant other may be jealous of all the attention you pay to it.

Smokin fast, that's how it works. I have the issue you read about a low signal but it has good call quality. When I call someone from my house it sounds real scratchy when you hear the ring sound but when they pick up it has good call quality. Some say the low signal is just a glitch and you have better signal than it says. I have noticed today though that when I was away from home and the WIFI I have a faster battery drain so the signal may be as weak as indicated. I live in a metro area and have yet to see a full signal on the phone.

I am at about 8 hours off the charger and have right at 50% battery left. I messed around with it earlier a lot and it dropped to around 70% real fast. I guess when I figure out how to configure everything it will get better. I am not going to shut everything off though. Whats the use of having the thing if everything is shut off? I gotta say though, it smokes my iPhone 3G. Even when I dropped to the slower network from 3G it was still triple the speed of my iPhone on the 3G network. No buyers regret, thats for sure.

Guess we could have an Incredible Android Forum Unofficial Convention down here. At least that is what we can call it to write it off on our taxes (for those of us that pay them). It will actually be a keg, carton of cigs, a grill, red meat, crawfish and phones (for those of us that have them).

So long as we don't go to the coast to party. Only to help clean up or take pictures with our phones to report the progress.

I can brew a Blue Moon or Fat Tire clone.

A Hogaarden clone was the first beer I ever brewed! If you haven't had it, it is a Wit Bier like Blue Moon but better.

I'm in the northeast and mine was shipped yesterday. Call CS - yours might be shipped. I have not received an email nor the 611 message. So..if I hadn't called CS I'd never have known mine was coming today.

Totally bummed. Thought I would wake up this morning and have a message or email. No such luck. If it hasn't shipped now I won't get it until next week which is my scheduled time. I was so hoping I could take it to DC with me and navigate that town like no other tourist has before

Maybe there's still hope. I didn't get my notification until 9:00 p.m. If it ships today and it's overnight, maybe you'll get it tomorrow.

I called customer service last night b/c my phone has been horrible at my house the past two weeks and while we were changing me back onto Alltel legacy towers I had them look at my 6/26 order and they said shipping 7/23. I was told 7/26 or later in the store when I ordered. Judging by how fast they are moving according to this forum and a few others, I'm thinking I'll be seeing my phone in my hands by 7/26.

I just called verizon again, part of my daily routine (morning and evening calls) and now i was told that anything ordered in July up to this point will all ship on the same day, and I said, whaaaaaat? that makes no sense.

Just an FYI if your phone is on the truck, call fedex and give them the tracking number they may be able to call the local office and have the driver meet you somewhere to get the device sooner. This was told to me by VZW, just got off the phone w/fedex, waiting for a call back.

I'm only 2 miles or so from our facility...I'm not even sure it would be worth it at this point...

I am too, but have to work at noon, and vzw requires fedex tries one drop before we can p/u the device from the fedex warehouse.....buffett for jimmy? catch the show on sunday?

I'm originally from Wyoming so every time I go home I have to get my Fat Tire fix.
I haven't been able to find it in Louisiana. I hear Texas has it.

Let me know if this works. I can't imagine fedex would do this. It would screw up the drivers schedule big time.

Wow! I ordered 7/10 and emailed CS as well. This was my response. Very disappointing:

I have checked your account and I show that 07/10/10 you placed orders to two HTC Incredible phones. I apologize however the estimated ship dates at this time will be next month with a target somewhere mid-month. The ship dates are changing daily, so if you visit our website you may show a different date then what you saw on the 10th. The new dates do not impact your order.

So this person was basically telling me that them bumping up ship dates would not help me at all. Even though CS told me 7/24.

I've been looking at the Tracking Page, and it says Left FedEx origin facility@ 0235, Arrived at FedEx location @ 0253, and In transit @ 0942--all in Memphis, TN. Exactly how long does it take to get out of Memphis? Grrrrgh!
