Help I know there is lag....any solutions i can try at work?

Google make android (2.2 is finished), Samsung modify it with TouchWiz (in progress), and Samsung make the phone firmware. We install both via the Kies software. They are meant to be releasing android 2.2 / new firmware to us at the end of september. Hopefull that should include all sorts of fixes, including lag, but who knows...

I've not tried any unofficial fixes myself, but there are a few. They all require root and/or flashing unofficial firmware though. Don't know of anything you can just... download.

Well there hasn't been anything official yet. I think 2.2 and any other firmware fixes will probably be pretty much intermingled. People are talking about updating Kies itself, which does nothing for the phone, and people also have tried unofficial firmware releases.

But yeah, my guess is everything at the same time.
