Ok...maybe I just missed something here. This is the first CM rom I've used...and I love it. But I have a problem.....my "droid" sound (i've always used it for messages...lol) is missing?! Is it missing in this rom? You know the one.....the robot-sounding "droid". I LOVE that...I want it back!
Anyone have the sound file?

lol I've tried like 4 launchers with the same result. Try again. And I wipe before installing every rom. I actually thought I forgot to so I did it again, same result.

It's definitely the Rom.

Just a thought...have you tried re-installing the ROM...perhaps a glitch during that install process. I know several using this ROM with NO issues at all. I've been using it for a week flawlessly!
Also, what kernel are you using...and have you tried a different one? Again, just a suggestion.

I tried re-installing, nothing. I just stick with whatever kernals come with the Rom.

Now I'm using UD8.0 and I couldn't be happier.

Anyone have the sound file that I can put in on my SD card and use from there??

Glad you found one that works for ya! enjoy

I have been bouncing around from ROM to ROM the last week or so with so many of them coming out. I always come back to this one. This is as stable as stock, with a million bells and whistles and obviously themable. I'm running the REVOlution Theme - love it. This is also definitely the best battery life I've experienced since I rooted last November.

I had stability and contrast issues with RC1, so I was hesitant to try this. But I was getting tired of waiting for BB 0.5 so I thought I'd give Cyanogenmod another try in the meantime, and I'm impressed! Really snappy and loving the customizations since they actually work for me now! Just having issues installing swype argh.

This is my second ROM that I've ever flashed and it's definitely my favorite so far. I love the Power Widget options! The phone runs really smooth on this.

"Wireless Tether" app is working great.
I really like the reboot options.
Lock screen wallpaper changes back to the grass scene, all other wallpaper areas are staying steady though. Live wallpapers will stay at lock screen.
I wish the power widget button for ring-vib/vib/silent would apply to changing volume. You have to hit the power widget button if you want to turn vibrate off, instead of just turning the volume all the way down (like stock 2.1).

For some reason my Stars Wars live wallpapers force close when I try to set them. I installed them from SD card using Astro. They worked on stock Froyo and BB v0.5 I will try re-downloading them.

My first ROM was Bugless Beast v0.5 and it wasn't much better for me than stock. This one however brings a lot of cool features plus quick snappy processing.

I don't know, this isn't really true. Just went back to BB v0.5 and it is working just as good or better than CyanogenMod 6.0.0 At least I can set my R2D2 Live Wallpapers if I want to on Bugless Beast. I tend to like the stock launcher more than ADW.

22 hours since plugged in, 4.5 hours of screen on.
That is double the life of any other rom I've ever used. Slahyer lv 1.2 v1.6 set to 300/1000 and interactive governer.

I've run this for 3 weeks after trying UD8, BB.5, and Elite all stock and also with this great kernel. Far and away my best experience.

This shows me how important it is to keep trying new roms until you find the best one for you, then kick down some $$ to say thank you!!!!

I just tried to install CM 6, and it went through all the processes perfectly. Once it rebooted itself, though, I've been completely stuck on the boot screen (The one with the CM logo and the little light circle that goes around) for at least a half hour. Is it safe to pull the battery and see if it will restart again? Or should I leave it and wait?
