How do you know this, have you done it before?
I have done it several times trying out several different themes and I can confirm that this is accurate.

Anybody having a problem with the Messaging app? Sometimes if I click on said person it opens up a different persons thread. Also If I am on the home screen and click to open SMS it often takes me to my last open program? IT fiexes with a reboot but comes back after a couple hours
Awesome program that I use whenever I pull down a big HD movie and want to convert to a resolution and file size that makes sense for the X. I've found it takes quite a while though, so I got accustomed to letting the moto interface convert files for me when I move them. Oh well, sounds like I need to get familiar with Handbrake again.
Do you know if I can setup a batch of file conversions with Handbrake?
Install from RM won't work. You can download from RM, but then you have to follow install instructions in OPInstalling from RM now, thanks fab.

You sure?
I DL'd it and everything went okay...
Running it now.
You DO need bootstrap
I have tried voltage into the 80's but I would never run that daily and it still froze. So what's the point. Also 1600+ at 1.3 is nit that great. I get average scores of 1622 at 1.15 and 1660 at 1.18 witch is the top of my DX's stable rangeFab's overclock settings did not work for me either. I tried customizing setscaling.sh, and was pretty stable running 1.1Ghz at 62 volts, but still experienced some reboots. With JRummy's app I've been running 1.3Ghz at medium voltage all morning. Quad score is 1600+, battery life is good.
I'm thinking many of us who think our DXs are duds because we can't OC above 1.1Ghz are actually being too gentle with our voltages. I suggest using JRummy's app at medium voltage to see how fast you can run, then easing the voltages back from there if you want to tweak. Take a look at the voltages JRummy is using at his medium setting:
Fab, Would you consider adding a "medium" option to the ApeX OC scripts based on these voltages that seem to work for some of us who haven't been successful with the existing options?
Hey guys, I just got a warranty phone, which actually came loaded with 2.2 to my suprise, rooted it, got bootstrap and rom manager and am about to flash apex. Will it even work and is it a bad idea to flash the data from my old phone from apex?
You sure?

Edit: Screen shot for proof.

Anyone having 3g problems on this rom? I'll have 3g where I normally will but once I initiate something that uses it like the browser or marketplace, it switches to 1x and it won't go back. Any suggestions?
So there's no need to mount system before installing?
Sorry, I didn't have much time to go through the rest of the posts.
but is it possible to customize the given pre-overclock If so, please direct me to the correct method (if there is more than one). I'm getting hype over the new overclock stuff.
I've been away from this forum for a long time because of other stuff that's been catching up with me.
