Help HERO to Access Internet

We have an RV and travel a lot and when we do we have a Sprint Aircard to access the internet on our laptop. I was thinking if we could access the internet on the laptop through one of our HERO phones we would not need to pay the monthly fee on the aircard. Does anyone know if we can use the phones connected to the laptop to acces the internet? I am sure it would be a monthly fee but I am thinking it may be cheaper than the aircard which is costing us $71 a month with all the fees and tax for unlimited access. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can Tether your phone to your Laptop, but make sure you have an unlimited data plan for your cell

Yes we do have the unlimited data plan for both phones. So are you saying if I download this app to the phones I can access the internet on the laptop without a monthly charge? Is that legal as far as Sprint is concerned? Just making sure so we don't end up in trouble with Sprint. And thanks for the info.

Yes - You have unlimited data....you should be good to go.

Tethering is against your T&Cs

I've never had an issue with it, but supposedly there's a 5 GB cap on 3G through Sprint according to the CEO in an interview about a week ago (granted, even the CEO may not know what is in actually in effect, policy-wise

Hesse: The experience is really fast, and we offer unlimited plans on 4G. There’s a five-gigabyte cap on 3G, but 4G is completely unlimited.

There is no 3G data cap for smartphones on Sprint with the Everything Data Plan. The 3G data cap is for Sprint network data cards.

The only thing that 4G does is give you faster speeds and the potential to take a phone call and still use data at the same time. That is, of course, if you are in an area that has it.
