I am new to Nexus but had Android since it's very early days.
Had the pre-ordered G1 before Android took off.

And since then been sticking with the G1 and finally gave in and picked up
the Nexus S @ a local BB store.

So far, it meets what I need for it to do. The no LED and no external memory doesn't really bother me.

My contract also expired back in Nov. so I changed my contract to the Even More Plus plan and I was worried about my unlimited data, but so far the phone is working like it should.
Also GPS worked instantly, the Exchange sync was a breeze for my work email, and everything else is alot smoother and responsive. Well that's coming from the G1.

So far it has been seemless. I was playing with a Vibrant & Captivate in a few occassions (my coworkers) and I had been stopping by a local Tmo store playing with the G2 and the MT4G. But in the end, the pure vanilla appealed to me more than anything just like it did with the G1.

I was a little concerned with not having KB, no LED or external SD (I rarely took it out of my G1 anyways) so I am not even disappointed at all with teh Nexus S.

The exchange integration was smooth for me as well. And I had been stuck with 1.6 that 2.X+ is such a breathe of fresh air. And the built in tether/hot spot feature of 2.3 is really exciting. They worked seemlessly.

Also I did not experience any issues with WiFi connections like I have read. So I am hoping this will be a permanent positive experience. 1 day so far and I am loving it.

Congrats on your upgrade from the G1 :p

I'm sorry, the geek in me must correct you on this but the built in portable hot spot was first featured on 2.2 :p
Thanks for the correction but I was referring to my NExus S which is 2.3 and not the general 2.X+.

I came from 1.6 (G1) and never had anything after that until 2.3 (Nexus S) So I think what i stated was clear.

But yes I was aware of hotspot/tether was in 2.2.
