No problems here but then I didn't have any problems with the old version.
Will be interesting to see if 64bit OS's will connect ok.

this what was happening to me on my 64bit windows 7 with the old one i posterd this some where else
i no how you feel just installed it on my new pc windows 7 64 bit when i start kies i get a 20 boxers fsusbservice64 coming up with service initiali failed and i have to keep clicking yes to truten,inc it worked ok on my windows 7 32 bit pc what a pile of crap

Luckily I don't have a 64bit OS so have never had the problems others have had.
But the new version of kies does seem a lot better.

I run a 64 Bit O/S and downloaded the new version. Works Hot Damn. Much better than the previous version. Recommend.

still the same old POS. Recognises my phone every third try and also says firmware not updateable. New look same sXXX
