[RELEASED] The 4.3 inch "Thunderbolt" aka "Mecha" aka "Incredible HD" from HTC...beyond coming soon!

With the expected volume of devices avail to each location. I would advise that those interested in the device without a pre-order at best buy check with their local corp store to ask if they are doing a pre-sale. We are looking at limited supply and given the hype over the device I want to give people a heads up to get in line... early....

Example.. some major locations will only have 20-40 devices..

And I'm sure the crisis on Japan is going to make it harder for inventories to get replenished right away too. Not that the phone is made in Japan, but I'm sure there's some obscure part that's probably manufactured in some remote part of that country that was hit hard by the forces of nature. I feel a little guilty that my thoughts are more focused on this phone than on the poor people of that country.

So....is Best buy the only place getting the Thunderbolt on Thursday? Just wondering because I see everybody saying Best Buy will have them on Thursday, but when I called 2 Verizon stores in my area they both said they don't know the release date and it probably won't be til April. WTF is going on here??
noone knows anything for sure yet. everything is still purely speculation, but this is the most promising date since the 24th

Is that $749 full price?

From the curves of the font, thats what it looks like. Pricing on this thing is crazy. I know its got a new radio in it, but other than that I don't see that price hike. Currently i'm debating between this, the Dinc 2, and the iPhone 5. I've had so many force closes lately is what is making me thing iOS. However, that platform needs to step up to keep up with some new features Android is touting in order for me to jump.

Best Buy's MSRP prices are always alot more than the carriers. The same phone will be $539 though any big red corporate store.
