Yes,yes, yes !!! 1.3 beta 3 is very smooth.Scrolling is pleasure now! No battery drain /8%-12hours in "middle"use is perfect for me !/.Goooooooood job Damian !Thx.One queation for you.Your kernel U"logo" wisible when SGS start is very fine. Then we waiting moment and bootanimation going on/I have "Red Boot"/.Can you make for as yours bootanimation which will be such a continuation of this static U logo? From A to Z it will be "U" :D

Thanks

Boot animation is in the rom, so its not anything I do.
The logo is hardcoded in the kernel.

Hi Damian,

Can you share the uv table for beta 3?

I can use 1200 oc with 100 uv
I can use 1280 oc with no uv

I want to set the 100 uv used in 1200 oc and set no uv for the last step of 1280

Also how can I set uv manually as u stated the voltage control app won't work.

Thanks!

For uv table information read next post, sorry

For set uv manually Damian will update the Ultimate Kernel Control app

Can you explain this please?
If I use oc 1200 I shouldn't use uv 125?

Why not? Try step by step, start with 25uv and if your phone don't freeze go next step, when your phone freeze, go back one step and stay

With my phone I use 1200 mhz with 25uv

25 undervolt:
1280 MHZ : 0 UV
1200 MHZ : 0 UV
1120 MHZ : 0 UV
1000 MHZ : 25 UV
800 MHZ : 25 UV
400 MHZ : 25 UV
200 MHZ : 25 UV
100 MHZ : 25 UV

50 undervolt:
1280 MHZ : 0 UV
1200 MHZ : 0 UV
1120 MHZ : 0 UV
1000 MHZ : 50 UV
800 MHZ : 50 UV
400 MHZ : 50 UV
200 MHZ : 50 UV
100 MHZ : 50 UV

75 Undervolt:
1280 MHZ : 0 UV
1200 MHZ : 25 UV
1120 MHZ : 25 UV
1000 MHZ : 50 UV
800 MHZ : 50 UV
400 MHZ : 75 UV
200 MHZ : 75 UV
100 MHZ : 75 UV

100 undervolt:
1280 MHZ : 0 UV
1200 MHZ : 25 UV
1120 MHZ : 25 UV
1000 MHZ : 50 UV
800 MHZ : 50 UV
400 MHZ : 75 UV
200 MHZ : 75 UV
100 MHZ : 100 UV

125 undervolt:
1280 MHZ : 25 UV
1200 MHZ : 25 UV
1120 MHZ : 25 UV
1000 MHZ : 50 UV

Hi Demian followed you here . love your work! been using it for a while now.
so thank you for all the hard work!

in v1.3 b3 the function to receive calls and be able to listen through wired headphone and use the phone mic doesn't work for me. it worked with a different kernel. i dont remember though if it work on earlier version of your kernel.
is there a way to enable it using your kernel ?

I am having a strange problem...

I can't seem to get Ext4 to work for me.

Before I used Damien's kernel, I used both Speedmod and SOK with Ext4 no problem, but when I opted for this kernel I went to all Ext 2 + loops. Hearing people saying good things about Ext4, and feeling like a change, a few weeks ago while using Ultimate kernel 1.2 I tried switching to Ext 4 with loops, and ended up boot looping until I went back to recovery, reverted to all Ext2 with loops again and then installed a backup. I figured "Oh well".

Recently I read Damian's instructions for changing lagfix (Make a proper backup, change lagfix, Do a wipe without backup, restore proper backup, golden) so figured to try it again as I am not on 1.3 beta 3.

Same bootloops until I returned to Ext2. Does my phone just REALLY dig Ext2 or what? What could be causing this beyond my phone being possessed? Is there a way to fix it? Should I care?

After making the lagfix I had it reboot directly to recovery then restored the backup, should I have done a normal reboot, gone BACK into recovery, THEN restored the backup?

Maybe I need to light a candle for St. Hard d'Boot, patron saint of smartphones?

Well I had the same problem with ext2 +loops.
I figured out why I ended up in a boot loop - the kernel didn't change the filesystem probably - it left one loop on dbdata. I changed it fully to rfs within 2 steps.
So try this:
1 CWM Backup
2. Change filesystem to rfs. Without backup + wipe
3. If bootloop - go to lagfix option and enable rfs system again. Again without backup. + wipe.
Then it should be fully converted to rfs.
5. Now change to ext4. Without backup + wipe
6. Check if ext4 has been fully applied and restore. Backup from. 1.

This sounds reasonable...once I get over today's bootloops and the horror starts to fade I will try it.

Well your phone like speed.
There is no reason why your phone should not work.
You are also the only person I know that have this problem.
