Help Reboots are getting out of control....

I called Verizon about the re-boot issue and they sent me a new phone with instructions NOT to do the update.
Now my phone isn't rebooting, but I wonder when they'll release an update for the update.

did you get a new one or a refurb one? i called today and all they offered was a referb, i would normally take that, but i haven't had my phone 2 months, they already swapped it out once and i got a brand new one at that time since they reported they had no refurbs yet.

Man I tried this with corporate and local store. No love. Kind of disheartening really. What department did you talk to and how far out of the 14 day window were you? I hear ya on the work thing. For me its even worse because it reboots while on the phone with surgeons and staff in the middle of operations trying to explain a procedure or problem solve a technical issue with medical devices!

Basically I called after receiving a replacement that was in bad physical shape. I mean bad... The screen wasn’t planted correctly. I called very upset about the replacement and told them I was not willing to deal with the reboot issue any longer and if I needed to my firm would handle this directly with verizon or the manufacturer. I told them money was not an issue and was willing to pay the difference of the cost of the charge now and be done. They said no need to worry about the difference in cost but I would have to pay for a battery and cover. I agreed but said to upgrade the batter. (Which by the way I love)

Thanks for the explanation...I'll try again. I'm like you. Really want the bolt to work but am tired of it causing business problems.

Honestly, if you can wait a few weeks I would. Supposedly gb will be sent out before the end of June and it will hopefully fix some of these issues (at least that's the theory). It's a great phone, but it is very buggy right now. If you dont mind a few reboots and hiccups here and there go for it. Personally, I would get the dinc2 if I could do it all over again. If they can get the bugs worked out this will be a fantastic phone...until then the jury is still out.
When has they ever got a new OS out on time. I will say WE will see GB about september.
