I just learned how to do this from a fellow Forum member and wanted to post it up here in case other do a "search" for this. Very few are aware you can do this, or that Droid/Eris allow you to do it at all.
  1. Open Exchange email client
  2. Select Menu>>Compose
  3. Select Menu>>Add Recipient
  4. Select To
  5. Select Company Directory
  6. Begin typing in a name or distribution list that lives on the server Global Address List
  7. Select the name
  8. Compose your email
Thank you.

You're right, should've given you props! I just did a quick cut/paste and dumped into a new thread that would come up for forum members in a search. I know I looked all over for it and there wasn't one. Thanks again for the great tip!

Edit: I have the Motorola Droid so I'm not sure if your instructions apply just to the Eris.

New to the Droid and having issues with the above instructions. Would appreciate any help and please excuse my possibly simple questions.

- Ok with Steps 1 & 2 above
- I don't have an add recipient option in the menu, only an add Cc/Bcc. Selecting that only adds the CC/Bcc fields to the already existing "To" field
- I can see a "To" field but can't find "Company Directory" When I select "To", it only puts the orange box around the field and typing only brings up existing contacts, not corporate contact/global addresses.

Again, sorry for the probably simple question but am another frustrated BB user trying to make the Droid work out.

Thanks in advance for your help.
