13,000, geez. I have 9, not 9,000 or 900, just 9. Buts it a hell of a good 9 songs :)

LOL, I've been collecting music for a LONG time. I'm old! I'm also kind of strange with respect to all the different genres that I like. If I could just stick with one, I wouldn't have so much. My current library says I have over 34,000 songs, but I picked my fav's to upload. I think its quite a bit of music, but its not too uncommon for me to come across people with a lot more.

Sounds like the 3g Xooms are getting it first. I look forward to checking it out. I guess after the announcement at I/O it will become available.

I have Google Music now (in the "gCloud" and using Chrome as my goto access point), and, from my Droid, automatically uploaded every dang sound file it could find - even from the Downloads folder and the root.

More has to do with the self-invitation, first-come, first-served, per-account basis than a "device" thing. Looked at XOOM at Costco last week- already had Google Music on it and running.

I have a couple of questions....
after about a dozen music manager questions, I managed to get all but 5 of my sons uploaded. The status now reads 2832 out of 2837 upload - but nothing is uploading. I've restarted the program and my computer - nothing changes. What's going on with the final 5 songs, any ideas?

Also, now that I have my library uploaded. If I make changes to my mp3's (like correct artist info, etc) via Windows Media Player on my computer, will those changes be uploaded and reflected on Google Music? If not, what is the best way to do this rather than doing it on BOT google music and my computer?

THanks!

Another issue...when I listen to music (by selecting artist then playing entire album) it starts with track 1 then repeats the song and although the timer lists the song as being 6:54, for instance, when it repeats the timer continues beyond that continuously. I do not have repeat on and I can go to the next track by tapping the forward button but then that track plays in a loop too!

I don't see any settings I can adjust. Any one heard of this before? Any suggestions?

In listening to the songs above again, it seems to happen to the same songs. They seem to have uploaded double length. Strangely the listed time is correct but the playtime clock that actually counts forward doubles the listed time. It isn't every song. Some play once, some play twice (they continue to count upward and don't change track number, and the affected tracks play exactly twice then advance).

....who knows how many of the 2400 tracks I have are gonna do this..

not for nothing but i dl'ed the same songs to the amazon cloud in a fraction of the time it is taking it to go into googles... 3 days and counting on 1900 songs

amazon was about 6 hours i believe
Interesting. I uploaded about 2,300 songs to Music in about as many hours. Roughly 700 of those were through my Droid as a mounted device.

I've only synced one album to the Amazon service, so I don't really have a basis for comparison, at the moment.

I have Google Music Beta running on my XOOM and my DINC2 but my wife wants to access our music too from her DINC. She downloaded the Google Music Beta to her phone but I can't find anywhere that I can sign in to MY account instead with that program so that she can access it too.

Just tell me there is a way! I DON'T want to have to upload my 2800 songs to TWO accounts!
