The green clockwork screen that comes up when you restart your phone is annoying and I want it gone but can't seem to find out what to do. I even did a factory reset and it still comes up! Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

You're sure it's the green screen? That would be stock recovery. What are you running? Gb OTA, TBH's rooted 596, etc? That info would help us to help you.

You can delete /system/bin/hijack and /system/bin/logwrapper. Then rename /system/bin/logwrapper.bin to /system/bin/logwrapper

I've had to do that twice and it works great. There's no need to reset, SBF, or anything like that.

I have never done this and I personally wouldn't do it. Sure it stops the annoyance but what happens when you REALLY need cwr to come up with the charger plugged in and it doesn't because you modified these files?
Just sayin. Something to think about......

This doesn't just stop it from coming when you boot up but removes it completely.

Even more of a reason to think twice about doing that.....
all you need to undo it is to open up droid 2 bootstrapper and bootstrap recovery.

Yeah I know. I was referring more to those people that can't boot up and need to get into recovery to reset.
