As a hardcore Android user, I am forced to buy Apple products.
Because Apple has such a head start on the tablet and mobile space, I have had to buy the iPad 2 to do enterprise development work on it.
Now I am having to replace my Windows PC with a MacBook so I can look at developing some iOS apps for the enterprise.
And for my business mobile phone, I am going to replace my crappy Blackberry with the iPhone 5 when it comes out, for the same reasons listed above.
With my personal spend, I have bought over a dozen Android devices, currently rocking the Evo 3D, Captivate, among other phones. And I rock a ViewSonic G-tablet for my personal at home wifi tablet. I can't wait to get a 3G Android tablet this holiday season, to relegate my iPad 2 to work usage only. Right now there is no 3G Android tablet that I can find comparable to my iPad 2 for personal use.
As I hate Apple more and more for their lawsuits against Android phone and tablet makers, as well as banning Nook / Kindle users from buying content within their apps, and for banning flash on iOS, I find myself having to give Apple more money.
I hope Google / Android gives consumers and enterprises much more choices and options in the coming year so I don't have to look at iOS as the first option for tablets / mobility.
