im still learning, but all this reminds me of QBasic when i was 11. i mean this code that i see and read all day every day it just seems so simple to me.....

My comment was aimed at Tickerguy though for getting a handle on the GPS issue. Good job though.

Hello guys i am new to the forum but have been using the ROM for the past weeks and happy with the support for the triumph. I tried lifeblows10 method for tethering and it works. I downloaded the new apk from wifi tether with CM7 Rom and select MSS clamping, then go to device profile and select Epic 4g profile but go all the way down and remove the enable 4g mobile network. I test it out on my ipad and iphone and im getting decent speeds can't complain when it is free. I would like to thank lifeblows10 for his knowledge and offcourse Tickerguy and Isaac's for all there support.

You are the man ticker. I've been rolling 9/18 as my daily for a few days now without fail. I've even added a bunch of misc tweaks in build.prop without bootlooping the darn thing so far. I will be moving to 9/20 today!

I'm looking forward to diving in to cm7; ordered my MT (upgrading from a rumor touch) and it should be delivered today! Once the issue with the front camera is taken care of, I think I will make this my daily.

No material difference. There is no immediate solution (and quite possibly none ever) for the lack of XTRA support in the chip. It's not a software problem, it's in the silicon and/or radio driver which there's no way to change.

There are a number of oddball things in this phone - beyond this one with the GPS which was a hell of a lot of fun to find there's also the fact that none of the similar devices' wifi drivers will load and from the log messages I get it appears it's for the same reason the GPS didn't work. In those cases it's also probably not fixable as none of those drivers for the libra module have source available and thus I can't find and poke the correct places.

This is a valid question. TickerGuy is a big boy now and can take care of himself. He certainly doesn't need people to stand up for him. I had the very same question on my mind. he may very well be going back over all the code to clean up any nagging bugs and such now. HDMI/FFC are low on the list for a stable build I am guessing. HDMI also being a real bitch to figure out (although I have no doubt that he will get it sooner or later)

FFC shouldn't be as much of a pain in the ass as GPS was. I already have some ideas on what will fix FFC. I'll pass along what I have to Tickerguy when I'm finished.

will this rom fix the problems that the phone has out of the box that everyone is complaining about the reason i ask is cuz im planning on getting a triumph soon and i would hate to pay $300 and have a shit phone
