Ok so i am a huge Motorola Fan but I recently switched to AT&T and now have an Atrix...I am within my 30 days until October 20th and am weighing out the options on whether I should keep the Atrix or go with the SGSII. Could I get a few opinions on this topic?

I like the Atrix a lot but I kinda want the latest and greatest...Also, when I was with Verizon :( I had the WONDERFUL (sarcasm included) Samsung Fascinate and was just a huge headache. I am really hoping that this one is NOT the same way.

Thanks for all of your help in advance!

My wife has an Atrix and I just upgraded to the S2 on Sunday(my move away from Apple is complete!). The Atrix really is a great little phone, very fast, but I like the S2 better myself. Even faster than the Atrix and the screen is awesome! I'd say it depends on your budget and personal preference. I find the 4.3" screen to be the perfect size for my taste but some might like smaller or larger.

I don't know much about Quadrant but I ran the standard edition and my benchmark was 3209.

edit: I ran it 2 more times and the numbers were 3350 and 3500.

I wanted to see how it compared to the Atrix. I don't remember what my Atrix was before I added CM7 and an OC kernel but I know it wasn't higher than 3000. I think it was mid 2000's and sometimes high 2000's. That thing will really fly when the devs over clock it. Thanks for letting me know.

The Atrix is a great device once rooted and optimized. The main factor for keeping it would be whether you use or like the WebTop portion of the device. That is the devices major redeeming factor. I think the SGS II trumps it in just about every other category.

I have owned both devices and would be happy with either. I do miss the WebTop feature though.

My Quadrant score on the SGS II is 3563. This is a completely stock score.

i currently have an atrix, and am debating getting the s2 myself. currently, i love the atrix, but you know...curious minds. :) i like the atrix a whole let better now that it has 2.3.4, and i use the very streamlined zeam launcher.

mine is rooted, but i'm not a techie enough to know what to do with it after that! :) it works fine the way it is. it isn't like my iphone that is practically useless without being jailbroken.

i know for a fact the atrix is a good phone. i can only assume the s2 is too. it sucks that they aren't in the stores yet to test drive, but they eventually will show up.

I had the Atrix and decided to Grab the GS2 and granted they are both dual core phones which everyone thinks is cool to say, I can tell you without rooting the GS2 is definitely an upgrade camera, user interface, speed, video and picture quality etc etc. Also, the GS2 is ridiculously thin and light.
